Bailey was heartworm positive and was under going treatment for Ehrlichia. She also had a previous leg injury which caused a major limp in her hind end. At the shelter, the majority of the dogs were barking and jumping on the gates but she was just sitting in the back of her cage all by herself. From Bailey’s mom: I started fostering Bailey in December 2022, when I went to pick her up, I was expecting a young female puppy but when I got there, they asked if I would be interested in the Mama dog instead.

She was so calm and sweet, little did I know that “calm personality” wasn’t going to last because when I brought her home she ended up being the craziest and silliest dog I’ve ever met
Her nickname used to be Bunny because she does bunny hops whenever she hears the jingle of her leash being picked up! Now, her nickname is velociraptor because she reminds me of Blue in Jurassic World.
She’s freaking nuts! She runs around with the craziest zoomies, jumping from the couch to the ground to the bed and back around. She can track any animal who has crossed her path
Yet, she is so gentle with the cats and she even plays with Roxy all the time.
She loves cuddles and her snoozel (it’s one of the beds that’s a cave)
When we take her to the beach or park, she always finds the muddiest or smelliest thing to roll in
Overall shes a lover dog and a lick monster. She is so sweet and it’s so hard to get mad at her for anything that she does, even amongst all of her crazy.
